My Story
Living on top of a mesa in high desert of Northeastern Arizona is a dream that could come true. I can ride my quad to read ancient petroglyphs of the Zuni Indian tribe. Sometimes I feel the spirts, and hear voices.
The night sky is filled with the Milky Way. Coyotes in the distance or behind a Juniper while walking the mans best friend. Attacking rattlesnakes before they attack me. Always a project to take care of. It can be clearing tumbleweeds or watering tomatoes. Neighbors always want to get together to roast steaks on the grill or taste different tequilas. If someone needs help, we are all there.
I grew up on the edge of the big city. Look south and see drive-in theaters. Look north and see corn fields until they became orange orchards. Then, Arizona desert. Different than most people might think. Mountains, covered with pretty but dangerous, cacti. Gold, crystals, mines. Balancing everything with work and family. A hard balance.
As you get older it becomes easier to balance.
Art becomes Zen. Something you can become and relate to.

The contrast between black and white. Life like art is what I live. I started with grey pencils and white paper. Always wanted more contrast. Greys get darker and turn to black. What's after black? Light. The dark brings the light if you can ride the journey.

Changes in scenery, throughout my life. Feeling the free form of life making you flow like a sine wave. Expressing the glimpses on a substrate. Art is special to me and I want it to feel the same to others.
